Microsoft to sell Office on subscription basis

Microsoft Corp. will begin selling its Office programs to consumers on a subscription basis starting mid-July, in a bid to reach thrifty PC buyers.

- Please. It's a songgggggg. A pop song no less. What deep message are we talking about here. It's not like Pink Floyd's "The Wall" or something. Is the gay community that sensitive or are they just out of things to bitch about. Get a grip and lets worry about something a little more important.

- What a HORRIBLE idea. The only reason that I use Office is BECAUSE I CAN reuse my disks on a new computer. Office is not that great of a product for me to be paying for it every single year. Open Office here I come.
